Loved this! It only bugged me that you can see the white of my nail underneath in some pictures, oh well! I should have done another coat of nude. I'm obsessed with nude polishes lately, I think they're super classy! I used the technique where I painted my nails nude, and on a piece of foil, I painted sort of stripes of nude and pink next to each other, and swirling the joining line together a bit with a toothpick. Then, I picked the polish up with a triangular makeup sponge and dabbed my nail, moving up and down a bit. Topped it off with two thick coats of Seche Vite.
I got a bunch of new polishes the other day! So I had to see
what they looked like. I forgot to take a picture before I added the
crackle… but they are all so so gorgeous and I’d wear them all just by
themselves. I personally think that OPI has the best shatter formula,
and then China Glaze. My black shatter is China Glaze, but my mom had
gotten a white Sally Hanson shatter all impulsively and it was soo bad
hahah, hardly shattered at all, so sad :(
Thumb to pinky
OPI - You Calling my a Lyre?
Butter London - Disco Biscuit
Butter London - HRH
Deborah Lippmann -Just Dance
China Glaze - I’m With the Lifeguard
OPI - White Shatter
I did a “jelly sandwich!” (? still not sure on the definition hahah) I wore this for a few days, I
absolutely loved it! Two or three coats of a jelly, clearish color, I
used OPI - You Calling my a Lyre? Then, two coats of a chunky glitter, I used Lush Lacquer - Neon Blast. Then, two coats of China Glaze - Fairy Dust.
And then top it off with another coat of your jelly base to “encase”
the glitter in jelly! This effect makes the glitter a lot less, in your
face. Which I love, since I’m not big on the chunky glitter, but when
it’s worn like this it’s great. Those giant pink hexagons are to die for ahh I love them!
I almost had a heart attack inside the beauty shop when I finally found this polish. I’ve been looking for Orly - Fowl Play
for so so long! It was so worth the wait. The deep, but not black
purple and copper flakes go so well together, and I’ll never turn down a
deep cool color.
